El Bailaora is inspired by the energy and fluid movements of a Flamenco dancer or Bailaora. The piece is formed from a ring of Tasmanian Oak timber dowels with a stepped incursion which mimics the asymmetrical nature of the dancer's dress and dancer's body poses, known as Oposición.
